Business Development Representative

Overview

Interface Systems is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help fuel our continued growth. In this role, you'll partner with our National Accounts Sales team to identify new opportunities, engage enterprise decision-makers, and generate qualified meetings that drive revenue for our innovative managed services including Business Security, Managed Networking, Unified Communications as a Service, and Video Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers and buying groups for Interface's technology solutions.
• Engage C-level executives, Vice Presidents, and Directors at strategic national accounts to schedule qualified meetings.
• Achieve demand generation goals by collaborating with our national sales team.
• Establish a high level of rapport and trust with prospects.
• Update and monitor all qualified meetings and opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience making 80–100 outbound cold calls per day in a business development, sales development, or inside sales role.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with technology sales and/or business development.
• Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) to manage leads, document activities, and track sales pipeline.
• Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and deliver business value to high-level decision-makers.
• Goal-oriented and competitive spirit with the ability to meet and exceed monthly quota goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
• Knowledge of the security industry (security systems, monitoring, access control, video surveillance, or related solutions) is a plus.

Base range for this role is $55,000 with on target earnings ranging from $85,000 - $90,000 annually. Pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs.
